St. Thérèse of Lisieux
I was delighted to record this episode with the wonderful Father Andrie in appreciation for our mutual friend, Saint Thérèse of Lisieux!
In this episode, we talk about how she glorified God with her life and how she shows us how to reach heaven through her "Little Way". Our Guest for today, Father Andrie, is the pastor at the parish of Saint Thérèse of Deephaven, MN. He expresses invaluable wisdom into Thérèse's little way and explains who she is as only a true friend can. In particular, we reflect about her love for priests, her devotion to the Blessed Sacrament and her ability to see the hand of God even in the smallest things. We admire the saints in general because of how they demonstrate for us what a life of devotion looks like. In a particular way, Saint Thérèse shows us the value in being little. She is so comfortable with being small and vulnerable and achieved an incredible level of holiness from her practice of embracing her role as God’s sweet little child. We pray through her intersession in a world that despises innocence and ask for her to walk with us towards eternity with Christ. Saint Thérèse, Pray for us!
